Originally from Weird Island, Pfreud has been active on the electronic music scene for now 30 years. As a very versatile dj, his music is a house blended with electro techno infused with a neo-disco twist. He’s in great demand during the 90s “golden rave dayz”. He also resided as a DJ in renowned after-hour clubs such as the legendary Sona club in Montreal. He shared the decks with Green Velvet, Carl Cox, Tiga, Isolée, Underworld and Misstress Barbara to name a few.
In addition to having signed original titles on Gung Ho! (London), Odrex (Berlin) and IceWax (Montreal), Pfreud is constantly exploring in studio for his Hoopalaï project. Hear them on Get Physical Gmbh, Kindisch, Repopulate Mars and Poésie Angulaire. Also, some originals and remixes with his trio project Thee FFF (Felix DaHousecat and Lebaron).
Lately, Pfreud has released 2 new EPs on his own Weird Island Grooves label. Stay tuned for some more goodies fresh out of the studio.
